QDP Spraying

Quick drying primer sprayed to specification so bitumen seals and hot mix bond properly to concrete.

The work

QDP (Quick Dry Primer) is a special fast drying (bitumen or hydrocarbon solvent based) primer for the priming of concrete roads or concrete bridge decks, which are required to be surfaced with a Bitumen Spray Seal or Hot mixed asphalt.

A traditional bitumen emulsion does not bond properly to concrete and so any subsequent Bitumen Spray Seal or hot mixed asphalt will not bond properly.

QDP Spraying, with its hydrocarbon solvent ensures the ADHESION of the bitumen spray seals or the hot mixed asphalt to any concrete pavement.
